What is Bulk File Downloader?
Bulk File Downloader is a browser extension designed to eliminate the repetitive task of clicking multiple download links on a single webpage.
When activated, it scans the current page (or all open tabs) for links to files such as PDFs, ZIP archives, documents, and images. It then presents these files in a clean list, allowing you to select the ones you want and download them all at once.
How it works under the hood
The extension works by reading the HTML of the page you are currently viewing. It looks for standard anchor tags (<a href="...">) and identifies the file types based on the URL extension or server headers.
Data and Privacy Architecture
We believe utility software should be quiet and local. Here is exactly what happens with your data when you use the extension.
Local execution
The extension runs entirely within your browser. It does not send the files you download to our servers.
Privacy first
We do not track which files you download or which websites you visit. Your browsing history remains yours.
Standard permissions
It requires permission to read the current page to find links, and permission to manage downloads to save them to your computer.
No hidden installers
You only get the files you explicitly choose to download. We do not bundle toolbars, adware, or background miners.
